Hadrian, 117-138. Cistophorus (Silver, 29 mm, 10.64 g, 6 h), Laodicea ad Lycum. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. COS III Zeus of Laodicea standing front, head to left, holding eagle with open wings and head right in his right hand and long scepter in his left. Metcalf 58. RPC III 1401.3 (this coin). Very rare. A few faint scratches and with minor traces of overstriking, otherwise, very fine.
